alchemest1Rokyou held his position seated against the wall, taking long drags on his cigarette, eyes half slitted watching his friend busy himself with his preparations at the mention of Danzou Roukyou drowned and lowered his head. He did know much about Danzou. He had after all served in the Root for a time. The original I tent had been to do whatever was necessary to ensure the village's safety no matter the coast or distastefulness of the dead. Clenching his fists Roukyou thought of some of the things he had done for Root in the name of the visage first. He shivered feeling slightly as if the genjutsu outside of their position had seeped it's way inside him. Shaking hos head he came back to himself in time to hear Yuji's plan to bring back the Lord Second. He was slightly surprised as Yuji had always favored the Third, but seeing the mentality of the village he supposed he could see the draw. The Third had been a man of peace in a time of war. The Second would be a man of war in a time of peace. Something Yuji obviously thought the village currently lacked.
Yuji surprised him by pausing in his preparations and pulling out a scroll he had seen many times with him out in the field. Roukyou couldn't help but let a smile ghost his expression as Yuji went about preparing tea service. Grinding out the cigarette he flicked it away. When Yuji offered him an invite to join him Roukyou gave a slight bow and knelt of the offered cushion. He had hoped there would be a pause. He wasn't sure yet if he was going to stop this. Many questions still needed answered and it seemed that this would be one rare instance when he would be indulged his request.
Roukyou politely poured a healthy measure of sake for each while Yuji pulled a set of candelabra from nearby and patiently waited for the shinobi to settle down. Rolling his cup between his hands he took a sip as Yuji began an explanation of his intentions. Roukyou stayed silent, but in his head he calculated the risks of allowing even this cleaned up version of a kinjutsu proceed. He had nearly decided that as a jonin of the leaf, whether he understood the reasoning or not, he couldn't allow this. He still had an obligation to the village even if he didn't feel as if it was his village anymore at times. Then. He hit him with the question that gave him pause.
Roukyou listened to the rest of Yuji's well laid out reasoning and found himself with doubts upon his decision. Upon his completion Roukyou stared at the table his knuckles rolling against the wood. Without looking up he spoke.
"I do understand. This visage is not what it once was. Some call it progress, some call it folly. I call it the ever turning circle of time. I have seen much. More than maybe anyone in this village. I have watched tribes and cities rise in power, grow complacent and tumble when the peace they so held dear crumbled." Looking up he stared into Yuji's eyes and his jaw twitched. "I love peace, but I am not arrogant enough to believe it is endless or even not an illusion. Perhaps I agree with you. This village needs someone with a mind for war and conflict to shed perspective on the subject of peace and right now we have no one to do that. We have five people that think they know best and who knows. They may be what the villages need right now, but when they are gone or one stumbles in the mission of peace what will happen? I respect Lord Seventh, but he is idealistic. He may be a safe, but I don't believe he is truly the end all of war."
Taking a slow deep breath he downed the sake and placed the cup upended on the table before continuing. "If you would indulge me a few more questions I will make my decision and we will either finish our tea and then fight, we finish our tea and I leave or we finish our tea and I stay. So... the Lord Second... do you intend on leaving him his autonomy or keeping him on a leash? Second off. If you do bring him back and he decides to relieve you of your life for the violation of his rest would you accept that? Third of he arises and demands to be destroyed would you have the courage and respect to grant that wish? Answer me these and we will be at the point we find out how this plays out."

alchemest1Roukyou hadn't expected warm greeting from the man in front of him, the greeting had more been a courtesy to alert him of his presence. A courtesy he told himself he wouldn't have extended to others should they be found in similar circumstances.
The acknowledgment he recieved was right on par with the direct no nonsense demeanor he remembered. Yuji had been to close to Roukyou to try deception. He knew better and Roukyou could feel the displeasure from the man even from here, not necessarily directed at Roukyou himself, but the situation in general.
"I could say the same. I didn't expect to find anyone, but the squalered of the village in this part of town either." Roukyou sending Yuji's gaze looked up at the two beams as well and frowned. The polite if stiff suggestion to move made his frown deepen. He decided to let this scenario play out for now.
Upon his step back Yuji began his preparations to the site. Roukyou leaned silently against the wall eyes closed as he kept his senses open feeling the auras around him in his minds eye he saw the senbon still quivering in the wood glowing as the genjutsu traps flared into resistance with Yuji's words. They were strong and he pitied anyone that happened to wander into their clutches. To be blind and faced with your worst fears. Not an experience he wished upon anyone, let alone the few ragged individuals that may call this area home.
His brow furrowed and arms crossed Roukyou felt the familiar rushing swirl of leaves as the genjutsu built up nearby even on its fringes his mind darkened and unbidden images began to flash through his thoughts. With a quick handsign he snapped the connection and opened his eyes to study Yuji stepping g up beside him.
He was relatively sure his former comrade wouldn't attack him outright for what he was witnessing and the invitation while unexpected was not overly out of character.
Roukyou nodded and followed the other Shinobi easily leaping to the beams above, protected from the screen of Jutsu bu invitation and his own control of his mind. Taking a seat where the beams met the walls of the building he looked up at Yuji and raised a brow.
"I am sure you haven't kidded yourself into believing I don't at least suspect what you plan on doing here my old friend. You are smarter than that." Rokyou teaching into a pocket pulled out a paper and a pinch of herbs and proceeded to make himself a fresh cigarette. "You also are smart enough to know that if I don't like the answers you give I won't hesitate to end this. So... I assume you can justify this to me and tell me why I won't. I know that stench. It is kinjutsu you plan on using and one that requires more than I know you are unwilling to face another to endure in sacrifice." Pausing Roukyou looks down unconcernededly in a show of trust he hopes will night bite him in the end and closes his eyes as he lights his cigarette and takes a deep long drag before speaking in a slightly strained tone as he holds the blessed smoke in. "Now... give me a reason and I will decide how this scenario plays out." Exhaling slowly he opens his eyes slightly head resting tilted back against the wall looking at Yuji. His appearance calm and relaxed.

alchemest1Roukyou Eko-itami stood at the counter of the herbal shop his gloved hand hovering over the services bell on the counter after having already rang it for the fourth time. He winced at the sound as he rang it a fifth. His hand going to his forehead where he kneaded and massaged the dull ache there that seemed never to go away. He had been stupid thinking he could hold out to renew his stock of herbs. The shop he normally went to in the center of the newly rebuilt village usually was able to fill his orders, but the decline in severe injuries due to near constant war had lead to a decline in the quantity of his herbs. The next shipment wouldn't be arriving for nearly a fortnight and Roukyou knew he wouldn't last that long. This being the case he had wandered through the village looking for a herbalist that gathered their own herbs and was off the beaten path. This had lead him on a rather depressing walk through the still somewhat damaged and neglected older districts of the city that had been overlooked with the renovations to the new updated and modernized "downtown" a thing that Roukyou accepted with a forced smile. He had lobbied heavily to rebuild the village as it was and to strengthen the defenses, but the new council had shrugged him off and went with the idea that the wars were over and it was time to celebrate peace. Roukyou had sighed and bowed out with grace even providing a sizable chunk of funds under an anonymous donation to begin the return to "normal" for the village. A normal that Roukyou felt left behind by, but what did he know. He was a relic of a different time. He strived to keep up, but found himself a step behind. He was just glad for a time of peace no matter how brief it may be in the scheme of things. He had seen enough war, death and carnage in his long life. Multiple wars and many friends gone later he would welcome any peace and do his best to be there for the new emerging society that was different from what he knew. With a sigh he rang the bell again, a gritted tooth smile plastered on his face. With a sigh he looked both ways before hopping the counter and to the multiple rows of cubbies, drawers and shelves and began rummaging around reading the name on each. With a groan of relief he found the shop had a large stock of all his needed herbs. Some were in boxes marked with a notation stating they needed an medi-nin's sign off to be issued. With a chuckle to himself he rolled his eyes and in a exaggerated official voice asked himself aloud. "Foxx, you were a medi-bin in the third war. Do you think Roukyou needs these herbs?" Turning completely the other direction he nodded imfaticaly and said in a different nerdier voice. "Uh.. It is my opinion this man would not function without them." Turning back to the drawers he gathered up the whole stock of the herbs he needed and placed them on the counter. From his pocket he pulled out a wad of cash and tossed it on the closed register at the end of the counter. Not waiting to get home he reached in a pocket and pulled out a rolling paper and began pinching herbs onto it before deftly rolling it and flipping it into his mouth. With a handing he flicked his thumb and lit the tip of the cigarette with the small flame there. Taking a deep drag he gave a moan as the smoke began to dull the pain all over his body. He gathered up the herbs tucking them into various impossibly places pockets. He suddenly looked up. Despite the slight smoke befuddlement to his sense of smell he though he caught the whiff of a familiar person. One he hadn't scented since the last battle of the war that had changed the world as he knew it. Curiously he wandered from the shop and stepped out into the shabby street. Raising his nose to the sky he took a deep breath and with a wince tapped into his reserves to help strengthen the sense of smell he used to be able to use without the help of chakra. He gave a half smile as he caught the smell. Yes, it was one he knew. He had fought along side this man and had been close friends with him. How long had it been? Months? A year? Be wandered casually down the road towards an even more derelict part of town. A brow rose as the area became a bit seedier and he saw homeless villagers huddling in alleyways looking out at him nervously. A jonin in uniform was something they obviously hadn't seen in awhile. Roukyou turned a corner and taking a quick sniff noted the man he had expected leaning against a building looking out over the city seemingly lost in though. Roukyou nearly called out, but something stopped him, nagging at his senses. He closed his eyes and took a long slow breath and reaching out with his mind gently prodded the mental barriers of the other shinobi. They were as strong as he remembered,  but somehow different. Twisted. Thorny and bitter. Frowning Roukyou sniffed again and this time his senses snagged on a rotten and vulgar aura wafting from somewhere on Yuji Itou's person. Cursing Roukyou ground out the cigarette and flicked it away taking a moment to clear his mind and force his chakras back in line. He sniffed again and his eyes widened as he recognized the foul stench from a summoning jutsu he had smelled during a very dangerous time. A growl escaped his throat as he made a snarl. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath. Just because "that" scroll was here didn't mean it was to be used. He would give the benefit of the doubt. Composing his face he stuck his hands into his pockets and strolled casually towards the man leaning at the end of the block. "Well look what we have here. It seems this place attracts old soldiers like the hotsprings attract tourists. If it isn't my old friend Yuji."

alchemest1I don't take meds for my anxiety namely because my insurance sucks at the moment. I use CBS and meditation which keeps me at least stable enough to function. Though changes or little things can unbalance it fairly easily. Anyway, cool we can do it here. Apparently the forum doesn't support news phones networks. I will start a reply here in a min. Been busy. Sorry about that.

alchemest1Well crap. The site wont let me post on the forums from a phone anymore.
Anyway, was the bio okay? I can play needed characters if need be and I can accept those relationships with Yuji. It fits the new character style. Anyway, yeah. Mine is never ever 0. I wish it would be, usually out of 10 I am an even five at all times. There have been a few days I couldn't convince myself to get out of bed and a few times I literally went clothed into the shower and sat there for hours even when the water was freezing.

alchemest1Having someone that gets it is nice. Tbh I don't really have anyone. I was diagnosed with severe generalized anxiety disorder and not many ppl I know get it at all and the few that understand it some still don't grasp it enough to know I am quite literally always stressed and on the verge of an attack.
Anyway, glad you liked the changes. I will say forgive me if I take awhile to get back I to the swing of the Narutoverse. I may have to look up some things. Anyway. Also, I still use my phone to post so it takes some time. You can set up the scenario. I will work on a quick bio.

alchemest1Nothing wrong with carrying a torch still. Well not in my opinion anyway. I still carry one for my "one". She knows it too. Anyway, I am not an overly bland person, but I like spunk and fire in a partner.
Anyway, I like the changes too. Feel free if you feel like writing the two together to use my Roukyou. As always you have my permission to use him as you will. I believe for sake of character I will keep Roukyou as the first name, but to fit the character even for what he was before will make his last to Eko-itami. Namely cause it fits and well I get to use my name in it. Anyway, I like that change to Yuji. It would fit the personality shift. Older will make it easier to play as well. TBH I don't think I could play a teen as well as I used to. I am to jaded now. Lol. Anyway, I see Roukyou as easy going and more tolerant to some minor things. Liked, but also feared not just because he is powerful, but because he isn't overly open about himself. He is good natured, but has a short fuse when he feels things are being complicated when they don't need to be. Capable of playing the long game, but being frustrated by it with impatience manifest in destructive tendencies that he tries not to let reflect outward and turn him to destructive inward things like alcohol, smoking and vigilante style justice. Maybe some dangerous hobbies or gambling. Things that vent his frustrations but don't hurt those he cares about in a physical way. Anyway, I think I will also tweak his stronger abilities and make them harder than when he was younger. Costing him more to use, but due to his nature he doesn't conserve them. He grits his teeth and bares the pain. He is a grizzled war vet after all. He will be in chronic pain and I believe he will chain smoke herbal cigarettes to ease the pain when he overdoes it. He will also I think lose control of his abilities sometimes and the power will backlash on his nervous system sending him into agony. Not often, just when he really really over does it. Ya know like levels 25 miles of forest. I think one of his eyes will be failing him some. Enough to where he covers it some days when he needs precision work done. Anyway, if Roukyou saw yuji using Edo Tensei he would be concerned. Understand, but be very concerned and confront him and try and stop him.
Anyway, we can try here. Though as I said. My cannon knowledge Is far less than I used to have. Lol. We can try the RP section.

alchemest1Nothing wrong with having a type, and I don't think your type sounds weird at all. She sounds like she was/is a caring and good person. I am sorry to hear she was not available to you now. As to types. Well my "one" and I grew up inseparable. We were practically brother and sister until teen hormones and realizations started in. Then we were still nearly siblings. Just a bit more infatuated with one another in other ways. She has Chestnut coloured hair, is just as odd and mischievous as I am. We think alike, but have enough differences that it madeife interesting and richer. Sadly she chose the path of being exactly what her parents had in mind for her... well mostly... I kinda ruined some of their plans, but she now follows the path her parents put out for her and she was miserable for years and years due to that. when she finally broke that off and was her own person openly again *she was always herself around me and it led us to trouble a few times* I wasn't around. Some 2K miles away and in a happy relationship. She now has as she says settled for second best and is happy. Though we both rule the situations and timing of fate. ANYWAY, pardon the unasked for story. Yeah, I will admit Roukyou would probably have a few tweaks to him as well. Most likely to reflect changes in me. A bit more cynical, if possible a bit more reckless, a little quicker to anger, he already could be violent in private if you remember the forest he decimated. But now he probably would be a bit more likely to lash out in public, his abilities would probably be tweaked. Possibly if we started completely from scratch story wise would be based on Vulpine rather than Lupine. Kiba would be switched for Foxx. Possibly a full name change. We would have to see. Also, probably a bit older. Little more grizzled and careworn. Not letting true age through, but letting at least some of the damages of time show. Anyway, yeah. I was interested in where it went too. I will have to reread the story version and the RP. TBH I despite it being more recent I don't remember much of Shippuden due to life events and the RP stopping. Though I do miss the RP and mentally engaging back and forth we had. We would have to find a good platform for it. Here as always makes it hard due to no notices anymore that activity occurred.
