OH frackEN GOD NOT THIS WEEKEND NO NO NO NONONONO ...

I'm busy. I've got two papers due on Monday I think, And I need to finish my newspaper by Friday. So, in short, I'm fracken busy. Oh, and we're shooting a music video this weekend. Dunno how long that'll take, but ... yeah. It has a little story that goes with it. I'm Death. Which is pretty fracken awesome. ;DD

But the weekend after that'd work, I'm sure.

I FINISHED STRANGE AND NORRELL~~! I almost stayed up 'til I finished. Almost. I had like 50 pages left, and decided I could read on the bus. Which reminds me, it rained today. I'M SO HAPPY~! By the way, my prediction about Stephen Black was right, too. Along with the Vinculus one ... I dunno if I told you that. But yeah. The best part in that entire 1000+ page book is the measly little three pages in which the Raven King actually appears. He's amasing. And he pwns the world. Well, he's mentioned throughout the entire thing, but here you have the immense honour of meeting him in person. Well, okay, it doesn't say it's him, but if you can't get it by then ... :eye roll: I dunno how extensively you've perused Cynn Corvus, but that little manga thingy she drew on there is based on that scene. So if you haven't read the book, it won't make the slightest bit of sense to you ... xD; But .. yeah. It's funny if you know what's really going on ... but yeah whatever. I'll shut up now, lest I spoilerise something. (and the Raven King doesn't really lick anyone in that scene, by the way)

I meant to ask: does Beatrix like to dance? As in, ballroom. She makes a bit-part appearance in RD. So ... yeah. page one is more or less 'drawing practise for curvy women'. And they use pounds as their currency. xDD But it doesn't take place in England. Poor Shadow. He's never heard of Pounds in his life ...

Well, it did succeed in getting approved. And it fracked up my apostrophes, so I had to go fix them. Then I submitted part two. So it should be up by this time tomorrow at the latest.

Ehh ... oh, right. I dunno if I told you, but I got to drawing the actual comic this past weekend. I finished the sketch for page one, started inking it, got bored, started sketching page two, then left to read Strange and Norrell. Because if any book is addicting ...

The gentleman with the thistle-down hair really is a total @$$. But I forgive him, because he just did his most @$$-like thing to a charactere who wasn't exactly my favourite in the first place. Plus, he's prettier. Is it kind of odd that I wouldn't put either of the title characteres on my list of favourite characteres? Strange is not exactly free of assy behaviour himself, and Norrell is boring and cowardly and self-centered and greedy (though not in the usual sense) and he keeps his riches to himself (ditto) and he does something TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE. And extremely ungateful. That book actually has quite a few asses. (actually, I'd say that the only redeeming quality Norrell has is that he's got a cool servant.)

I STOPS RANTING NOW. I'll go look at your da favourites, as I have neglected thus far to do so.

My copy is a little over 1000 pages. 1006, I think. But it's a smaller paperback, I think the original Bloomsbury printing was somewhere around 800. It's still fracken long. And really good. And the footnotes make it seem even more realistic. For example, not being all that well-acquainted with English legends, I thought the Raven King was actually a real legend in real England. Which he isn't. Unfortunately. Yeah, you can laugh at me ... OOOH MAYBE FAC FINALLY GOT THE TRAILER UP I'M GONNA GO CHECK! ;D

HAHAHAHAHA. HA. I JUST TOTALLY FIGURED SOMETHING OUT. BECAUSE I THINK MUCH TOO MUCH ABOUT THE BOOKS I READ. xD;

Okies, you know the Mathematical Formulae section on Cynn Corvus? Particularly, this one:

Okay. The Book of Kells. I GET IT. AND I WILL BE INFURIATINGLY EVIL AND NOT TELL YOU WHAT IT IS. The more parts I read containing Vinculus, the more I like him as a charactere. And Emily was perfectly right in not spoiling him. Assuming the thing I figured out is correct. Which it is, irrefutably. So I spent a good fifteen minutes walking about the house with a huge smile on my face, occasionally laughing softly to myself.

I also think I get something about Stephen Black, but ... I'm not quite as sure about that one. I'm pretty convinced at this point, though. (mainly because of a certain prophesy guess-which-charactere is quite fond of reciting to those it concerns ...)

I'm going to wrap up this comment, which has been nothing more than a perfectly infuriatingly spoiler-free account of all the stuff I've guessed without Clarke having actually said so (I do that a lot, don't I?), and I shall now go read me some DA comments, then probably return to my lovely Strange & Norrell (in which, for future reference, I am on page 678. When I discovered this. xDD) OKAY SHUTTING UP NOW.

Okay. So, since fac's being stupid (it still hasn't uploaded), go here for the RV trailer. Yep, I call it a trailer. I wanna start drawing it now. Yep ... But I wanna read more Strange & Norrell, too. DD:

No, Shadow's not quite as short as me. I'm 160 cm at most. And he's nowhere near as short as Teacup. But then, that's not exactly a difficult feat. Everyone is taller than Teacup. Even me ... (I think ... I hope ...)

I love my new manga idea. Which would be more or less lots of useless Shadow backstory, and lots of guys with really nice, pretty hair. Hmm ... aside from that, it only really has half a plot. Because I'm STUPID. But if you think about it, most manga have plots that leave something to be desired; either dwindling along seemingly with no destination, dragging out hopelessly, or just not making much sense whatsoever. Or any combination of the above. I'll eventually find its plot. I know I left it lying around here somewhere ...

Which reminds me. Maybe that stupid approval panel finally approved the first half of the trailer ... >_>;

Well ... I sent the wallpaper to Emily. And ... we shall see. The contact page thingy is really cool, by the way.

... I'm tired. And hungry. Seeing as I don't eat breakfast, and I don't really eat lunch anymore either, and I never really had dinner ... I just had snacks. But that would stull explain why I'm hungry. D:
