ginathehedgehogAs Clover turned her head towards Shadow he instantly looked towards the floor. Poor Shadow wasn't used to being around many girls apart from Rouge and his sister and he found it hard to figure out what to say.
"Heh, it sure is!" He smiled uneasily. "Ur, so do you like the sun?" He blushed.

"Hmmm, I hope it's not too long, I'm craving some chocolate at the moment!" Gina giggled and then shot a glance at Shadow and Clover. "Poor Shadow..." She mumbled.

ginathehedgehogWhilst Gina and Sonic queued up waiting to buy ice-creams, Shadow and Clover were left alone. Clover was lying back with her sunglasses over her eyes soaking up some rays whilst Shadow uneasily lay on one side, thoughts flooding his mind.
"Heh, nice day huh?" He grinned after a while in an almost scared voice.

ginathehedgehogGina blushed as she hugged Sonic's neck tightly as Clover begun to pull ou a towel next to Shadow's and lay down. Shadow just kept staring at her, a smirk fell upon Gina's face.
"I think we'll leave you two alone!" She grinned. Shadow shot a death glare at his sister. "Whatever, me and Sonic are going to get some ice-cream, do you want one?"
"Uh, vanilla please! And get one for Clover too!" Shadow replied. Gina smiled warmly.
"Ok. Come on Sonic!" She smiled whilst grabbing Sonic's hand, leaving Shadow and Clover sunbathing.

ginathehedgehog"yup!" Gina said as she walked out of the changing rooms sporting a blue swimsuit with a pink skirt attached to it, dark blue sandals and pink sunglasses placed in between her ears on her head.
"Bout time!" Shadow said as they walked back to the boys. Shadows gaze slowly fell upon Clover but he shook his head before staring at the sand again.

"Whatever." Shadow sighed before the two girls scurried off. "Better not get too close to the water Sonic, you might drown." Shadow grinned evilly at his blue companion.

"Why?" Shadow blinked hard.
"Because I hate running as it is and it will be even harder if I'm carrying bags!" Gina grinned as she dashed off.
"What?" Shadow sighed and then ran off, following his sister towards the beach.

As they got there, Clover was waiting with Sonic by the entrance to the beach, Sonic looked as impatient as ever and Clover was just smiling as she saw Gina and Sadow approach them.
"Hey Clover, Sonic!" Gina smiled.
"Hey faker." Shadow grinned in a playful manner.

ginathehedgehogAfter a while, Gina had managed to pack her's and Shadows swim stuff and make a small picnic whilst Shadow came trudging down the stairs looking very sleepy indeed, he had obviously just got up.
"Well that only took half an hour!" Gina said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. Shadow shot a menacing look at her and just yawned, stretching his arms high into the air as he closed his eyes.
"Your the one who woke up at 2pm yesterday." Shadow replied in his usual grumpy tone causing Gina to blush.
"I was tired." Was her only quick reply.
"Yeah so stop blaming me then." Shadow rolled his eyes as he caught sight of Clover who was still standing in the doorway.
"You could have offered for her to come in you know?" Shadow growled at his sister. "Hello Clover."
