Geez, that's a tough one. I would almost suggest the Death Note group. Like L, Misa, and Light in halloween costumes. It's okay. I'm slowly getting it all worked out. I just have to make a trip to my home state next month to sign some papers and it should be all settled. Just been a long seven months of dealing with it.

I took the schooling and the tests and passed them all. I am a medic, but while the Federal gov gave me my National Certification the state has to give me one as well. The state lost my paper work and all the fun stuff and are now insisting i take and redo the classes and tests. I am fighting it, but it is taking a long time.

That would be cool. I swear, when that earthquake hit them, I was trying to figure out how to get there to help. If it was possible, I would have been on a plane and there. Takeshi came from the name of a swordmaster who I thought was really cool. It would have fit Yuji. In fact, the deciding factor in Yuji's name is that it's short. In Japanese, all these names are no more than three characters. But in english, it got old typing 'Kimihiro', for example.

Okay, as long as you promise XD If you're buried in lead, you'll have a hard time typing, not even getting to drawing! XD

Nuh-uh, being honest, like always :)

Each story has a different concept. 'Serving' is Yuji serving Naruto and Sakura due to a prophecy. He has admitted to loving Sakura, but she and Naruto are destined to be together, and he can't interfere.
In the 'co-op' fic, Yuji has been driven to insanity due to constant mental and physical torture. He's back from the brink, but still recovering and not at 100%
in 'Mercenaries', he's out to avenge a rather gruesome ordeal that happened to Azami. So he's a justified bad guy.
It's fun, letting him have all these different personalities. I think my next fic will have Azami in the starring role. There's so much I could do with a worldy bounty hunter girl.

Oh yeah. I wish I could like hockey again. I haven't played in four years now, and I've still got no desire to go back.

It was so stupid. I mean, I was listening to cartoon theme songs from when I was a kid. I guess nostalgia turned into sadness, then depression, then helplessness. It was like an anxiety attack times 100. I was stupid; I tried to shrug it off on my own. I shouldn't have done that. I should have woken someone up right away, before it got that bad.

lol, I know. If it wasn't a girl's name, he'd still be 'Ryouko'. 'Yuji' came from Shakugan no Shana, plus the name of one of my favorite game designers (Yuji Naka, Sonic's co-creator). 'Kimihiro' was from xxxHolic; Kojiro from Negima and Bamboo Blade. wow, naminmg people is fun! lol, who would have thought?

Maybe you've got the problem I do. I get asked if I'm going to be a writer because of my fics. I always say no, because then I might not be able to enjoy in the way I used to. It's a 'job', not 'fun'.

I hope not. Oh, I forgot- work had been really bad, too. I'd had threats against me, and by the end of the season I had finally had enough. My job is actually pretty abusive, as I'm basically getting paid to be bullied while babysitting drunken, mouthy, violent idiots. It just wears on you -_-' I was so miserable and tired that I guess a collapse was just unavoidable.

Let's see...I like introducing myself, because my name actually works out phonetically alright. I like writing all kinds of Kanji. It's like a secret code (with 2700 every day characters, of which I know 75...it's gonna take a while! XD) In general, it's a beautiful language. If you ever get the chance to listen to two native speakers, absolutely take a listen! It's amazing!

I've been mean to my poor Oc, whose name has changed a bunch. I went from 'Ekyt' to 'Ryouko' to 'Kimihiro' to 'Yuji' (my fave) to 'Kojiro' (my second fave). But I've actually let him get the girl once in a while for a change ^^
I can understand that. I used to prefer traditional pencils, but you hit the nail on the head with the mechanicals. The lines don't change size because you don't need to sharpen.
Have you seen the latest pic in my gallery? I think that's the only one I'm remotely proud of ^^
So, have you thought about doing art for a living, if you don't mind my asking?

It's frustrating, but when I get something right, it's all worthwhile ^^ My stories have gotten deeper and darker for the most part. It's fun to get away from my usual 'Disney' writing for a bit. it's nothing too extreme, but it makes for a better outlet for stress.

I had a couple scary things like that. As it turned out, I was near a nervous breakdown at one point. I had to drop the accounting class I was taking, and them my other class (Which I was acing up to that point) took a dive and made things worse. I have never been so scared of myself. It was surreal, and in a really nasty, scary way.

It's hard, because I'm not particularly interested in that side of the family. I just don't see them enough. I probably won't ever see them again after the wedding. They're strangers to me, so it's hard to really get up for it.

Let's see...my first job was working at an ice rink, selling hockey equipment. I got good at it. Too good, actually, because my manager resented me and nearly got me fired when I showed more aptitude for the manager job than he did. I realized the place was toxic so I quit just in time. Later on the guy kept getting in my face, very nearly leading to a fist fight almost two years afterward.
Apparently, someone finally figured out what was going on and fired the guy!
I loved the job, though. Selling stuff like that came easy to me. I really liked the responsibility, too.

Good question. I don't know them personally. Some cousin of my Grandma's apparently, on her husband's side. I've never met her, and my family seems to only know her the slightest bit.

It's good for life skills, too. Dealing with different people with different personalities, communication, and so on. All good skills to put on a resume someday :)

Me, too. My parents have their jobs, and then I've got mine, which takes care of my stuff. Living at home, I've got virtually no expenses (something else I recommend until you're financially stable), so it's all profit once college is paid for.
If you like kids, you might do good at a toy store, too. Toys R Us, for example. They're always hiring.

Yeah, really. It's hard getting work these days. You might be good in a book store, too. Those aren't too difficult to get in to, if you're someone they know. Basically, a 'regular', even if you don't buy anything.

I was 'sheltered' too. But college is a pretty accepting place. It's definitely easier to get in to if you work a little first. The experiences you get from work are similar to college, so it makes the 'culture shock' easier to deal with.

It's not so much that I'm not good at cooking as I don't like to know where stuff comes from. Takes the mystery out of it, and I'm kind of sensitive that way. If I don't like the origin of my food, I won't eat it.

It'll be basically throwing crap at the wall and seeing what sticks at this point. COllege is a unique experience when it comes to finding the best way for you to learn.

No one warned me about taking too many classes. For me, actually, the best solution was college online. It costs slightly more from a tuition standpoint, but I don't have any kind of commute, and I don't live on campus, so that's big savings right there. Plus, it tends to be a 'learn at your own pace' thing, which suits me. It's really all about finding what suits you.

Oh, sure, they love to jump on about that. It's good to go to college, but don't let anyone talk you into credit cards or taking a whole bunch of classes. Speaking from experience, take one or two classes at first. And go for a community college. They're cheaper and you can often transfer your credits to another school later on, possibly getting a scholarship or grant along the way.
Oh, crap, you probably have gotten enoug advice to make your head swim, too! Sorry about that!

No, not at all. I'm like that with my food, too. I eat in 'shifts'. Say there's meat, beans, and potatoes on my plate. I have to eat potatoes first, then beans, then meat. Then repeat the rotation. And yes, I am one of those people who does not like his food touching other food!

lol. I don't drive, but I own a vehicle. Go figure :\ I have no desire to drive, for some reason -_-'
Anyway, the story: My Mom and I were driving one day, and all of a sudden a horse without a rider starts trotting toward us. When it sees us, it turns around and goes back where it came from. Being animal lovers, Mom and I both agree that we've got to make sure the horse gets home. So we go up to the house it ran towards, seeing a barn in the back. Mom goes to look for the horse, while I ring the doorbell (which was broken). I heard a clip-clop sound behind me. There's the horse. It snorts like a bull, then charges me! So I high-tail it to the nearest tree and zip up it (Okay, I grab a low branch and kick my legs pathetically trying to get up it. I like the other version better). It hears my Mom coming, snorts at me, then runs around the house just as my Mom comes. She never saw the horse. Just me up in a tree. So she asks me what I was doing. I tell her, and she goes to knock on the door. The guy comes to the door holding an infant, maybe a year old. Mom tells him his horse is loose. He goes "WHAT?! MY HORSE IS LOOSE?!" and runs out the door.
Now, I'm in hot pursuit of this horse. It's not wearing a halter or a saddle. Nothing. So I don't know what the heck I'm going to do if I catch it (Keep in mind, I'm running after a horse. Like I'm gonna catch it!).
So now this guy is torn. He looks at his kid, hands it to my Mom, asking her to watch it, and goes off to call his son, who owns the horse.
Now the horse is grazing. I sneak up, get my hand within an inch of it's mane, when it turns, snorts at me, and I yank my hand back, visions of bloodshed dancing in my head. The horse takes off again, and so do I, cursing my own stupidity.
Finally, the owner shows up, hands me a feed bucket, and tells me to go to the barn. He grabs another horse to entice the escapee. But this horse isn't done. He sees me holding the bucket and charges me again! I drop the bucket and get out of there as the horse wolfs down the food.
Wild, but it really happened!

I hope so -_-' I'm intimidated by girls in real life. Ryouko IS modeled after me, lol. So 'pity' is my best bet, lol! No, seriously, I am pretty girl shy in rl, though.

RyoukoXSakura seems to be the popular choice. She was his first love interest, so I tend to think mostly of her when I write romance fics. Azami's been popping up more lately, because she's a good contrast to Sakura. That, and a bounty hunter fits in the world of Naruto. And there are a couple love interests you'll meet later on in 'Serving Naruto and Sakura' :). For a guy who's so terrified of girls, he really makes female friends!

Same here. It looked like it could belong to Mushishi, at first, if the art style was a little different. It looks like a creature that would fit that universe.
btw, I just got the last three volumes of the Mushishi manga series. What a crock! They put three volumes together in one HUGE, soft-cover book. That thing is gonna fall apart so easily! I hate it when they do that -_-'

I'm really glad you're liking it! I wasn't sure if I'm making this fic too deep or not. I wanted it to be full of secrets, relationships, and the like. It's my most intricate storyline yet, and I'm a little unsure of myself...(Doing that anime thing where you sit in a dark area except for a spotlight shining on you, drawing circles on the ground with my finger)

lol, I am kind of mean to him, aren't I? The guy invites sympathy, though, without my help! I think that's why people like him- he's relatable. He wants the unnatainable girl, he's constantly having to fight for every little scrap of any attention or power. He gets nothing easily. I think that's why he's so fun to write about, too!

lol! I'm not usually depressed on the weekends, so I have to force myself into emo-corner mode. Usually I'll do it up in a tree, or under a waterfall!

I can think of two Ryouko girls right off the bat. One is Ryouko Asakura, from Haruhi. The other is...nuts, I forgot! But I got used to Ryouko a lot, too. I'm trying to slowly ween myself off using the name.

I think, when it comes to Higurashi, the horror end of it is a big part because it tends to be surprising and grotesque. And the set-up is really chilling in each version. But the main part of it's attractiveness is the unique characters. The main character, for example. He's not your typical horror-movie hero. He actually investigates the truth, usually to his detriment. And each character has secrets that are deep, but identifiable and easy to understand. (Unlike Tsubase, because I STILL can't figure out which character is which!)

(Puffs up chest) Well, I've dodged my fair share of bricks in my day!

That video is really catch! How on earth anyone put that together is beyond me, because I can barely speak the lyrics, never mind match a character's mouth movements! Stuff like that just amazed me, no matter how many times I see it!

:D Another interesting read is the co-op fic Andr28a and I are doing. Neither of us have done this before, so as a result our characters are improvising a lot. It's really a great way to force yourself to write a new way. This fic is responsible for Yuji/Kimihiro/Ryouko to get more character depth. (I'm not fishing for comments; I'm more interested in talking about the char development end of it)

lol, doesn't it? I finally posted it ('Ryouko' is 'Yuji'- I've been giving him different names, since I've only ever seen female chars being named Ryouko). Ryouko/Yuji/Kimihiro really does invite sympathy, doesn't he? lol.

It really is very worthwhile. The story is a tad overdone to me, but it's still a pretty entertaining watch.

It would be, lol. The Higurashi world is fun, but horrifying at the same time (another anime/manga I really recommend). Haruhi is fast-paced, but relaxing at the same time. Hinamizawa would be laid-back, but gruesome.

I know, really! Bricks could hurt someone! Like me! Thankfully, I dodged them all, through sheer luck and a little bit of skill. lol.

I was thinking about what Sakura would wear on a day off, and how would it attract Ryouko. Then I realized he'd be even more intimdated by her, so he needed something to help his courage. And hence the alcohol. But true to form, Ryouko won't just party. Instead, he'll time the alcohol and his meeting with Sakura. He's so lame XD

Let's see...if you think 'Karate Kid' (The original), with the kid getting bullied, and then you throw in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, that's kind of it.

If I had to be a lacky to someone, she'd make the most interesting one, I think. lol. Although it would be cool to live in Hinamizawa (the Higurashi: When They Cry series setting), too...

I paid to get that grade, too. I did nothing but math for six weeks. I guess it was worth it. If I had gotten .8 points higher, then I would have had a nice, solid 80.

The lyrics are odd, but it's really a great song. And the anime that goes with it is equally good, too.

Ryouko isn't the type to get drunk. When I first made him, he was supposed to be a role model. Now, he's kind of the loser of the fic that everyone can like, lol.

I'm glad to hear that :) Animal loves always seem to be good people, based on who I've met. My evil little puppy might occasionally destroy a math book (you're right- she DOES share my sentinments, lol), but she's really a positive thing in my life.

Let's see...I'd recommend 'The Forbidden Kingdom', starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li. It's got a good bit of action, a decent (if slightly overdone) story, and it's got something for just about everyone imho.

I just wish there were really people like Haruhi. I don't know anyone who would have the guts to pull the stuff Haruhi does, lol. She just seems like such a fun girl.

Yes, actually :) The only thing that might not appeal to everyone is alcohol humor (Sakura chides Ryouko about drinking, to which he replies 'I only had a table spoon to shore up my nerve!'. Then Sakura calls him a lightweight. It's light stuff).

She's a sweetheart, my little...Boggle. lol. My Mom had her groomed one day at the pet store (we used to do it, but it a million times easier to let someone else handle it.) They were waiting in line to check out, and I was walking up from the back of the store. My dog spotted me, wagged her tail and stared. Mom let go of the lead, and she came flying to me. It's just so cool to have someone (I can't say 'something' about her after this, lol) be so excited to see you. And it's someone you see everyday that feels that way.
(Wow, I'm rambling about my dog. I should stop doing that.)

Trig is evil in math form. Word problems are PURE evil in math form. I'm still not sure how I did on the final, and I really don't want to know XD I think I did fine, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Not when it comes to math. -_-'

The previews aren't great, but the movie comes into it's own very quickly. It really is more appealing than the first, I think. The main character is a little more clever, but not in an irritating way, if that makes sense.

(Hangs head in shame)...I've tried it. Worse yet, I am the WORST at it. You would think, being almost exactly like Kyon in real life, I would have inherited the same rhythm. But alas...lol.
