When I first drew them, I would copy them exactly to the pic I was looking at...but now I look at people as shapes...the head is an egg...circles and ovals for arms...and if I didn't get it, i'd take real bodies (cosmo guys ^_^...very nice to use) and look how they are. The cosmo series I did was the real guys, and I turned them into my fav InuYasha characters...so no secret way, just practice, practice, practice...and of course no giving up ^_^ Hope that helps...
